Translation

This is a translation of a Bulgarian-language post. It conveys the content faithfully but is not the author's original English writing.

Like all members of the cabbage family (Brassicaceae), they grow wonderfully in the company of dill, celery, chamomile, sage, mint and rosemary, and other vegetables such as potatoes, beetroot and onion. They require a lot of space, because the plants reach giant sizes, and because of that, a soil rich in nutrients.

It reacts badly to a very hot or very cold climate, and so it counts among the crops that are difficult to grow — but if you sow the seeds directly in place in the first days of August, you have every chance, at the end of September or beginning of October, of harvesting tasty and very nutritious heads of broccoli.
