If you too feel sorry for the felled Christmas trees — the ones that grew for years only to decorate our homes for a few days and then be discarded — you have probably considered getting a living tree, one you could plant out in nature after the holidays.
The truth, however, is that a large share of the "living" little firs on the market do not survive past Christmas at all.
